Im so glad that I stuck it out!
So this is it…Im sitting at a coffee shop in Santa Barbara right now and its finally starting to dawn on me, this is pretty much my last day in California before heading home. About 2 months ago I headed out with a friend on a month long road trip from Arizona to Washington state on the quest to live freely and climb a lot of rocks. She was going to stay up there in Washington until moving...

Hitchhiking Blows!
There I was once again, sitting in front of a computer screen checking how much a Greyhound ticket out of Eureka, CA was going to cost me. I had hitchhiked 615 miles from Everett, WA so far and the ‘sense of adventure’ that I was looking for on this part of the trip hadn’t set in yet. Was it ever going to? I thought this was going to be one of the most exciting things that Ive...

What do you want from life?
What do I want from life…from my inner most being, what do I want? This is a question I ask myself all the time. I meditate, I contemplate, I talk with others, I even abandon those things at times and live in silence..I approach this question from many different angles and I always seem to come up short. Sometimes I feel like Ive answered the question for myself, but then circumstances...

Its a vagabond life for me! - 3 weeks in
So, 3 weeks ago was the official start of this trip that im on…I dont even know how to define what it is that Im doing, but essentially: I sold most of my belongings to go live on the road…right now Im on a summer long road trip with my friend up to her hometown in Washington (we left from AZ). We are both rock climbers and that is how we have been occupying most of our time. But...

Anonymous asked: I think what you're doing is awesome. Most people don't have the guts to live out on the road-myelf included, to be honest. But I've been keeping track of this and the vagabond diaries and notice that you genuinely look happy being out in the open and doing what you're passionate about. It's inspiring. So I wish you all the best on you travels!

Sold most of my shit...now Im living on the road.
So…not that long ago I decided to sell a good portion of my belongings so that I can go live the vagabond lifestyle, on the open road, day by day, by the seam of my pants, etc… that type of deal. I had a couple of different ideas on how to share my experience with people and setting up a tumblr blog is one I just recently had while sitting down in a Starbucks in Bishop, CA for 12 hours...
